Just when I was about to give up on the abandoned, unfinished 3/4 knit shawl at the bottom of my UFO basket, Anne walks in the door wearing this beautiful hand-sewn and hand-embroidered (by Anne herself!) blouse. So what's the big deal, why the long sentence about that, you ask ? ANNE STARTED THIS PROJECT before some of you were born, when Gerald Ford was president IN 1975! ANNE FINISHED THIS PROJECT IN 2012! Our own beautiful Anne just may be the UFO world record holder.

I think I might have her beat! I have an almost-finished, crewel embroidery pillow top from Jonathan Livingston Seagull days[circa 1972!] that certainly makes me a contender for the title!
